At present, the first phase of civil engineering has been basically completed, and the installation and commissioning of internal equipment is in progress. It is expected to be put into operation in the near future, and the annual sales are expected to reach 600 million yuan.
The water-based ecological synthetic leather produced by Jiangsu Xiefu New Material Technology Co., Ltd. is the main raw material for clothing and sports shoes. As a leading enterprise in the industry, Xiefu is not only a regular supplier of HM, ZARA, Uniqlo and other clothing enterprises, but also cooperates with Nike, Adidas, etc. have long-term cooperation. Zhang Feng, deputy general manager of Kunshan Xiefu New Materials Co., Ltd., the parent company of Jiangsu Xiefu, told reporters that the project will complete the task of producing 30 million meters of ecological synthetic leather after trial production. Leading enterprises in the water-based polyurethane industry have reached cooperation intentions, and simultaneously carry out technical cooperation with colleges and universities to ensure that they occupy the leading edge in the industry in terms of ecological environmental protection, clean production, energy saving and consumption reduction.
It is understood that 90% of the products of Rudong Base are exported to Europe, America, Southeast Asia and other countries and regions. Two years ago, considering various factors such as enterprise transformation and upgrading, environmental protection, upstream and downstream industry support, and labor costs, the company decided to move the entire water-based ecological synthetic leather production line out of the Kunshan parent company to avoid cross-contamination with the local oil-based ecological leather production line. . After inspecting many places, it was finally selected to settle in Lingang Industrial Zone 1, Yangkou Port Economic Development Zone. The project officially started in September 2018. Compared with the old factory, the new project has a higher degree of automation, and the production line efficiency is higher than the original one. 1.3 times, the product has also been fully replaced by the oily leather in the past with a more green and environmentally friendly water-based leather.
“Being able to settle here is also a new start for us in the water-based ecological leather industry in the future. At present, some products are exported as finished products, and in the future our raw materials can be exported directly through ports, which is very beneficial.” Zhang Feng said.
